It has been 3 years now since Yowamushi Pedal’s season 4 came out and we got any updates at all regarding season 5. I mean, seeing this news really fills me with joy that we finally have a confirmation for season 5. If you don’t know, It is a great sports anime. It is rather old but, it has aged beautifully in my opinion. If you’re looking for a sports anime, check this out you will love it.
So not only do we have a confirmation for Yowamushi Pedal season 5 now but, the website also announced quite a bit of juicy details. This is one of the first sports anime I ever watched so it’s bringing back all sorts of nostalgia during writing. So let’s get into all of the announced details.
What do we know about Yowamushi Pedal Season 5?
The official website of Yowamushi Pedal anime confirmed the season and they announced a few other details too. They revealed a teaser visual too but sadly, we didn’t get a teaser trailer or a PV. Well, those should surface soon enough. We should be seeing our first teaser trailer or PV in a few weeks from now considering the release date of the anime.
Speaking of release dates, Yowamushi Pedal season 5 is set to air in October 2022 meaning the fall season. The main staff and cast are all reprising their roles from what we know for now. Further details should also be announced soon. Don’t worry, we will keep you posted. Also, I forgot to mention that the studio, TMS Entertainment is coming back to anime Yowamushi Pedal season 5.
Expectations
I can’t express just how happy I am to see a confirmation for Yowamushi Pedal season 5. It is a tad bit different from other sports anime. Like, I don’t think that there is another bicycle sports anime that is nearly as close to popular as Yowamushi Pedal. As someone who loves their bicycle, I am a bit biased towards this anime as I can relate to it well.
But, in my opinion, even if I put the choice of the sport aside, Yowamushi Pedal has a lot of stuff going for it to make it awesome. The characters are relatable and realistic, the story pacing is great and there are a ton of hype moments just like any other sports anime.
I have no idea what is going to happen in Yowamushi Pedal season 5 but, I am really excited about it. I am just hoping TMS Entertainment maintains the animation quality because they are a little unreliable at the time. Aside from that slight worry though, I am really excited about Yowamushi Pedal season 5.

That is it for now. Man, I am a happy guy this week. First, we had the announcement of Bubble, WIT studio’s new original movie and now I see this.
