Top 5 Anime Series by Studio JC Staff

I’m back with another one of these “Top 5 Anime by X studio” lists. We are speaking about JC Staff today. Goes without saying, they are a really famous studio. Their animations aren’t that well most of the time but, they have done a lot of famous anime and a lot of anime in general.

I mean at times it almost feels like every other anime is done by JC Staff since they have done a lot of mainstream anime. They have the 4th highest number of entries on MyAnimeList at 396. That should give you an idea of how many anime they have done.

Well with that said, let’s start

Shokugeki no Soma

Right one of many mainstream successes in JC Staff’s bag. The first season of Food Wars is one of the most famous animes on MyAnimeList at 1.3 million list entries. That is enough to tell you how immensely popular the series is.

Shokugeki no Soma follows a traditional sports anime pattern but with food. I love the fact that the authors of this series actually took some time to research about different cuisines and that the series is mostly fact blended in with anime badassery. If you like sports anime or food or both (and fan service), you’ll love this for sure.

Easily one of the most famous and one of the best fantasy anime of all time. In terms of popularity, DanMachi isn’t far behind Shokugeki no Soma at 1.1 mil entries on the first season. If you ask me, the first season is still the best. Why? For one and only one reason, Bel’s fight against the Minotaur. It is one of the best fights in my memory.

Even though the animations aren’t that great (they did use better animations for this scene), the fight direction is just amazing. This fight is like “look at me carefully I am very important”. You never get this sort of feeling from any other fight in the series. the series is still good though.

This is one of my top 3 isekais of all time. konosuba is just hilarious. There are plenty of good comedy anime but, there aren’t many anime that have Konosuba levels of rewatch value because of the comedy. I only know 2 other anime like that and they’re no isekais.

Konosuba literally makes a joke of all isekai clichés, the story is really clichéd but the way it is presented is just hilarious. I love KonoSuba, definitely one of the best comedy anime of all time. I really wish we see a sequel soon after the success of the movie.

Toaru Series by JC Staff

Toaru Series by JC Staff

I love all of the Toaru anime. If you’re confused, I mean Toaru Majutsu no Index, Toaru Kagaku no Railgun, and Toaru Kagaku no Accelerator. The author of this series really has been working hard giving us all these spin-offs. There are also the New Testament novels but apparently, their adaptation is still ways out.

What makes the Toaru series great is the world-building and the well-defined magic system. All 3 of the protagonists are also great. Both of the spin-offs are meant to give a more in-depth look at the main story so I recommend finishing the main story before starting the spin-offs.

This had to be the first for me. This anime is really close to my heart and is really fun to watch when I’m feeling down. This always cheers me up and gets me motivated. It is about 2 guys aiming to become a mangaka. Bakuman really shows how tough it is being a mangaka.

It is 75 episodes long but it’s worth it. The pacing is so good that you’ll be begging for the next episode every time you finish one. The characters are also really good and relatable. Bakuman will make you appreciate mangakas more than before. Respect the effort they put into their work guys.

That is all I have for now. Let me know your thoughts and your picks down in the comments. As always, stay tuned for more content, and do not forget to check out the art section. With that said, I will take my leave here. See ya!
