And we are finally back with another one of these musical articles. It has been 3 months since we started doing this series and I can hardly believe it. I mean there are just 3 and half months remaining in 2021… it really feels like this year started just a few days ago.
Well my sentimentality aside, we are back with some more amazing anime covers this week too. Before we begin as always, the list is in random order. These are just recommendations, no need to rank them. With that said, let’s start
Last Stardust by SLSMusic
So you may remember I discovered this new channel last week. Since then, I deep dived into his videos and this is something is really loved. Last Stardust, originally by Aimer is an OST of Fate/Stay Night – Unlimited Blade Works. This song really encompasses the feel of the route and it hits like a truck whenever I listen to it. SLS my man did an amazing job on this cover. It’s easily one of his best covers. You can check it out here.
VIVID VICE by Kaji
Another channel I found last week, this dude is seriously amazing. Now, VIVID VICE is the 2nd opening of Jujutsu Kaisen originally by one of my favorite artists, Who-ya Extended. Many people don’t like this opening but, I really like it. It may not be better than the first one, it’s still really good. Another thing I’d like to mention is that this opening is really good for a drum cover. You can check it out here.
Katharsis by Eddie van der Meer
A really old video but, hey Katharsis is still one of my favorite openings to date so why not. I mean when I listen to this opening, nostalgia hits me like a god damn truck alright? Especially since I just finished rereading Tokyo Ghoul, I had an urge to listen to it. So here we are. Eddie my man was still amazing back in the day. His covers were still awesome. You can check it out here.
A Cruel Angel’s Thesis by Ru Piano and Kathie Violin
How many times has it been that is I have mentioned A Cruel Angel’s Thesis cover now? Does it really matter though? I mean it is a classic opening and all its various covers have their value. I had to do this one though because it is one of the rare duets between 2 channels I frequently visit. They are both amazing in their craft though, that is for sure. You can check it out here or here.
Traitor’s Requiem by Animenz
I am so glad that this man got into JoJo. Thanks to Animenz now, we have a god-tier cover of Traitor’s Requiem. Traitor’s Requiem is of course the amazing 2nd opening theme of JoJo part 5. We finally have a 10 hands cover of this amazing song now. What more can I say? I am just happy to finally see an Animenz cover of one of my favorite openings. You can check it out here.
Conclusion
Well, that is it for now. Let me know your thoughts and recommendations down in the comments. Stay tuned for more content and I will see you in another article. See ya!
