Welcome back to another edition of our weekly cover series. It is the 26th article and man I can hardly believe it has almost been a year since I started on this job. There has been quite a lot of stuff going on recently but, I ain’t stopping doing this job. The grind is always on guys because when you do achieve something it is beautiful.
Well to make sure you stay motivated on your grind though, I am back with 5 more covers you should definitely check out this week. I am pretty sure there will be a lot of AoT in this week but hey, the new opening and ending themes are fire so who cares? The list is in random order as always so, letโs get started right away.
Sansan Days by HalcyonMusic
Sansan days is the opening theme of the new anime, My Dress-up Darling. I just finished doing a first impressions article on that show and man; I have loved it so far. I really love this opening too; it has such a nice bounce to it and it perfectly reflects the light-hearted vibe of the series too. The song is originally by the artist, Spira Spica. It is the first time I have heard of them and they are really good. Halcyon does his thing with the cover as always. I like it. You can check it out here.
Asa ga Kuru by SLSMusic
Asa ga Kuru is the ending theme of the new Demon Slayer Entertainment District arc. This show keeps getting crazy every single week and leaves on crazy cliffhangers. Your adrenaline is really pumping when they leave you on cliffhangers and this ending does a perfect job of calming you down. SLS did a fantastic job on the cover. This cover really gives me goosebumps man, check it out here.
Hadaka no Yuusha by Drumstick
Drumstick uploaded after so long, I am happy to see his covers once again. He also dropped a cover for The Rumbling today but, I am pretty sure the next 2 entries will be AoT related so I chose this one on purpose. Ranking of Kings was a very surprising hit for many people. Like who’d have expected a childish-looking anime to turn out this well? Both of the opening themes are absolutely fire too. Drumstick does not disappoint with his covers as always. You can check it out here.
The Rumbling by Yunus Alpacar
I randomly stumbled on this video thanks to my YouTube feed. I have listened to so many covers of The Rumbling at this point, it is not even funny. So click on this, expecting the usual, and boy I was really impressed. This man’s covers sound so great. The Rumbling is already a heavy metal track so a guitar cover of it sounds so on point especially with something as good as this man. You can check it out here.
Akuma no Ko by Ruโs Piano
Ru also did a cover for The Rumbling but, since I havenโt mentioned a cover for this ending till now, here we are. Akuma no Ko is an ending that really gives us a peek as to what Eren feels like. It really has some cool parallels from some scenes in season 1. It is a great ending theme overall man. If The Rumbling serves to build the hype, Akuma no ko serves to keep the hype alive. Ru does an amazing job on the covers as always. You can check it out here.
Conclusion
That is all for now. Let me know your thoughts and recommendations down in the comments. These were the covers I really enjoyed this week and let me know what are you listening to this week. With that said, I will take my leave here. See ya!
