It is the 5th week of our weekly series and I am back with another 5 covers of anime of this week you should listen to. I love doing these articles since as I have said before too, they give me a chance to regularly check out new music. And I like music.
So yeah, here I am back with my picks of 5 covers you should check out now. As always, I am open to suggestions since the list of channels I listen to isn’t that big. The list is in a random order like always. So let us get started.
Like Flames by Ru’s Piano
Like Flames is the 2nd opening theme of the awesome TenSura season 2. It is originally by MindaRyn. This is the first cover of this opening I have heard and it is awesome. As you may already know, the actual opening itself is really good. The piano version still has a different impact though, you’ll love it. You can check out the video here.
Ashes on the Fire by Theishter
Ashes on the Fire is a soundtrack from AoT season 4. As we all know, AoT has awesome OST. It is easily one of the best if not the best work of Hiroyuki Sawano. Theishter as always did a masterful job in adapting this awesome piece of music for the piano. He deserves way more views on his channel. You can check out the video here.
WILL by Animenz
Ahh, the legend uploaded a new video. “WILL” is a soundtrack from the Violet Evergarden movie and my god is the OST good. I don’t need to tell you how good Animenz himself is. I mean YouTubers do a separate video for his arrangements. That is enough to show how skilled he is. You can check out this awesome video here.
Studio Ghibli Music Collection by Kathie Violin
As I have said many times before, Kathie deserves way more views and subscribers than she has. She is really good and the violin isn’t an easy instrument to play and make arrangements for. In this video, she does covers of various OSTs from different Studio Ghibli movies. You can check this video out here. As the title says, it is really relaxing.
Renai Circulation by Eddie van der Meer
Here is an old classic for you. I thought he would start uploading regularly again but sadly it has been more than 3 weeks since his last upload and we have nothing…. Well, he has a lot of good covers to list though and here is one of them. I don’t need to tell you how viral of an opening Renai Circulation. This song always cheers me up.
