Man, this week has been rough. Next week is going to be even more insane since I have my tests but hey, I’ll manage. Dont worry, I won’t leave y’all hanging next week either. Music can really give you the extra strength you need to plow through at times. I firmly believe in that and of course, one of my go-to stuff for music is anime covers.
So welcome back to another edition of our weekly music recommendation series. It is the 3rd week of March (I think) and we are back with 5 more covers that caught out ears this week. The list is in random order as always so let’s get started right away.
Multiple Songs by SLSMusic and Drumstick
This live stream has not started yet at the time of writing but I am sure as hell that this is going to be a fun stream. I don’t what songs they will play but I am very excited about this. Both SLS and Drumstick are really skilled artists. Not to mention, they posted a trailer for the stream and they were playing some Ousama Ranking. That immediately made me happy; this should be a great steam man.
Zankyou Sanka by Kathie Violin and Ru’s Piano
I don’t think I listed this cover back when it came out. Even if I did forgive me and just enjoy it. Because this is an awesome cover. It popped up on YouTube recommendations recently and I loved it so I had to list it this week. Zankyou Sanka is such a cool song man and having it covered by 2 talented artists like Ru and Kathie make it that much better.
Realize by Eddie van der Meer
I know this is an old video but, I never listed it and Eddie has been gone for a while now. Hope he is doing fine; I know he takes breaks from uploading from time to time but still. Well that aside, his covers are awesome man. He is really skilled in using every inch of his guitar, Realize is the opening theme of Re: Zero season 2 and I love this song and the cover.
One Last Kiss by Animenz
Sorry for bringing up another old video but, I was going through some old series, and listening to this OST filled me with a butt load of nostalgia. Even though it has only been a few months since I last watched Eva. What an ending to the legendary series man, Anno delivered as always. Similarly, Animenz always delivers on his covers. This is just an awesome cover man, Animenz style.
One Way by Ru’s Piano
One Way is the main theme song of the JJK 0 movie. I haven’t had a chance to watch that movie yet but, I have heard this song before for sure. Mappa has been pulling no stops with JJk and the same goes for JJK 0. It is such an awesome-sounding OST man, I love it. Ru’s covers are always great… She has an AoT medley coming up too. So be sure to check that out as well.
