Alright, welcome back to another week of our musical series. Feels like I did the last week’s article just yesterday but not, it has been exactly a week since then. Time flies when you have a lot of stuff to do I guess. But all that aside, I am back with some more beautiful cover recommendations for you guys.
So here we are, another week more anime covers. As always, the list is in random order. So let’s get right into it without any further delay.
Cinderella by HalcyonMusic
Starting off, we have Cinderella cover by HalcyonMusic. Cinderella, originally by Cinder Girl is the opening theme of the upcoming anime, Komi-san. Yes, the anime isn’t even out yet and Halcyon made a banger cover for the opening already. I have not heard the original song but the vibe of the song fits in really well with the series. I don’t even need to doubt Halcyon, as he always makes great anime covers. You can check out this video here.
Identity by Kaji
Next up, we have another banger cover. Identity is the opening theme of The Promised Neverland. As bad as season 2 of The Promised Neverland was, this opening was pretty damn good. I have to say though, it sounds even better with Kaji doing his thing with the drums. He did drop a new cover a few hours ago but, it’s not anime-related so I chose an old video instead. Kaji is just awesome at these drum covers. He uploaded quite after quite a break so I hope that he starts uploading regularly once more.
Zankyousanka by Ru’s Piano
So you may be wondering, what’s Zankyousanka? Well, as it happens it is the opening theme of Demon Slayer season 2, originally by one of my favorite artists, Aimer. The song was featured in the latest trailer of Demon Slayer Season 2 and that is what inspired this cover. The actual opening version may be somewhat different though but, I’m always down for an Aimer song. Ru works her magic on the cover as always. You can check it out here.
Sasuke’s Theme by Eddie van der Meer
A real old video here for you guys. Eddie hasn’t posted another one in like a month or so, so we’re doing an old cover here. Sasuke’s theme is like my 2nd favorite theme in Naruto, the first being Senya. Sasuke’s theme is perfect for a guitar cover it’s very cowboy-ish. It starts out simple and progressively grows complex. Eddie does an awesome job as always with this cover too. You can check it out here.
Kaibutsu by Animenz
I am so thankful that Animenz is back to regular uploads. Thanks to that, we have a regular influx of god-tier piano covers. So Kaibutsu is the opening theme of Beastars season 2. While I am not particularly fond of Beastars, I really do like this opening. It has a nice vibe to it. Animenz as always does his 10 hands thing and absolutely murders this cover. Conclusion
