Finally! Finally, a sequel announcement I was truly waiting for. I cannot begin to describe how happy I am to see this sequel finally confirmed. I can’t wait to see more of this anime and judging from this announcement, it should be soon. The World of Otome Games is Tough for Mobs is something a friend put me on originally. And I’ve been hooked on the series since, I have been keeping up with the manga regularly and there are a few moments I really look forward to seeing in the anime.
So welcome back to some more news, today we are talking about The World of Otome Games is Tough for Mobs season 2. Again, this is an announcement I wanted to see for a while. And I am glad to see it finally confirmed after weeks of rumors. There isn’t much on the news side since it’s only an announcement. So, let’s get it out of the way quickly!

What do we know about The World of Otome Games Season 2?
The official website of The World of Otome Games revealed that they are working on 2nd season today (26th December)! They also revealed that all of the previous staff and cast members will be returning to the show, which means that the 2nd season will also be made by ENGI, most probably. Of course, Kazuya Miura and Shinichi Fukumoto will be back to helm the series. And Takeo Ootsuka, Kana Ichinose, and Ai Fairouz will be reprising their roles as Leon, Olivia, and Angelica. More details should be revealed soon, that is all we have for now. Let’s move on to

NGL, that’s what I feel like saying when I start off this section. But, that is beside the point. So, what do I think about this news? Well, I made it clear that I am indeed very excited about this new season. The plot has a lot of twists and turns so it’d be really fun to see in the anime. One complaint I really had with season 1 was the animations. Season 1 was a success, so I hopeย they give more budget to the animations. Cause the animations in season 1 were really dry, they had no sense of “impact” if you know what I mean.
As for the release date, I think we will see this anime sometime later next year. Maybe the fall season, but that is just my personal speculation. And I could be totally wrong. I do think it coming next year though, I don’t see it getting stretched till 2024.
