Welcome back to another edition of our glorious anime art series! Artists all over the internet produce some really cool artwork on a daily basis and this is our way of thanking them. In this series, we highlight 5 awesome pieces of art that caught our eyes to shout out artists. I was forced to make a tough choice for the thumbnail again but I decided to go with the Shisui piece, cause it is awesome.
As always, all the art is from IG. The artist’s handle will be mentioned below the heading. And clicking the images will take you to the original post. If there are artists you want to see featured, please let me know in the comments. With that said, let’s start right away. Can’t wait to show you the Shisui piece.
OC by Sam Yang
by: @samdoesarts
To start off this article, what better than a piece to commemorate the Chinese New Year? All games around this time have some kind of events/bonuses going on for celebration. The details on this piece are so fantastic. The pecks on the skin, the glow in the eyes, the strands of the noodles, everything is so well done, Digital art is a very powerful tool indeed.
Vash in Action from Trigun Stampede
by: @mikanndraws
This dude never disappoints with their shading. I’ve been following their art for a while now and the shading is always so on point, it is amazing. Vash the Stampede is such an iconic character, seeing him done well really makes me happy. And his fanarts are generally really really cool, this is definitely among those.
Beautiful Violet Evergarden
by: @siksketch
Siksketch, my boy back with another awesome piece. Violet Evergarden is one of those characters that giveย you peace when you draw them. Especially knowing her story and all. This sketch is so beautiful, the expressions in particular are really well done. Sikscketch’s work is simple but it’s effective and I love him for it.
Amazing Makima Sketch
by: @ zeina._.yehya
How do you make simple pen/pencil strokes look this good? The expressions, the proportions, and whatnot are so well done in this sketch. And it was done with a simple pencil in a simple notebook! Truly, the art is in the hands of the artist cause if I try something like this it’d turn up weird as hell. Kudos to you my artist friends. Check out the original post here.
Samurai Shisui
Well, looks like my little experiment worked. This will make my job from next week onwards way easier. I figured out a way to embed it looks like, so you can see all the variations of this awesome Shisui samurai-style art now. In case, the embed is not popping up, you can check out the post here.
Conclusion
That is it for now. Let me know what you guys think in the comments below. I discovered how to embed IG properly completely by accident while writing this article so that’s cool. With that said I will take my leave here. See ya!!
