Damn, that was a long title. I am going to refer to the series as SenSura from this point on just because. This is also a nod to another anime that also has Slime in its title. So, this announcement was an extremely unexpected announcement for me. As someone who watched this series fairly recently, this sure was a pleasant surprise.
So SenSura is one of the most chill and wholesome anime I have ever watched. It recently got a confirmation for season 2 and I am very excited to share this news with you. Bear in mind, we don’t have much as of now because this is just the announcement but it is good to have nonetheless. First off though, I am pretty sure many of you may not know this anime, so
Introduction
So SenSura is an isekai comedy. It touches the wholesomeness levels of Kobayashi-san. Actually, both of the series are pretty similar in concept, just have vastly different settings. It is about a woman who dies from overwork and is reincarnated as an immortal witch who spends every day of her life killing a set amount of slimes. One day, she maxes out her level, and her peaceful monotonous life changes completely. It is a really fun and chill anime to watch and relax to.

What do we know about the SenSura sequel?
About 3 days ago (at the time of writing), there was this New Year anime festival of GA Bunko and the GA Novel. The 2nd Season for SenSura was announced at this event. Aside from that is literally all we know for sure right not. But, there is a high chance that the 2nd season will also be directed by Nobukage Kimura and Revoroot will be back for the animations.
But, that’s all we know about SenSura season 2 for now. As I said earlier too, we should get some more detailed information soon. I will be sure to update you all when we do get all that. For now, let’s move on to the next part.
Expectations
Well, what do I say here? SenSura is mostly an episodic anime so you can literally pick it up from whatever point you want and just enjoy the hell out of it. I am just excited that this anime is finally getting a second season. I expect the second season to be every bit as funny and wholesome as the first season was. The animations were good just the way they were; they did the meme expressions very well so even if they keep them the same, I would have no complaints. As for the release date, I expect it to show up in the fall season of this year but, I could be wrong of course.
