Anyhow though, the Animplex team revealed more staff info, a key visual, and a trailer for this upcoming movie. All the previous voice actors and major staff members are reprising their respective roles; meaning CloverWorks will be working on this movie.
The movie looks to adapt volumes 6 and 7 of the LN. And it is supposed to come out sometime in June. Now, keep in mind, that this is the Japanese release window. Well, it is another installment of the “Rascal Does Not Dream of” series. You already know what that means. More teenage emotional conundrum, more drama, more depression for us all and Sakuta. Looks like this arc is centered on his sister, Kaede so it will be even more personal for him than usual. Poor guy just got out of the whole Shouko mess too.
But yeah, I do look forward to this movie. The character writing in this series and its unique way of showing character development is something I really appreciate. Curious to see how the supernatural stuff manifests in this arc. Keep up the good work, CloverWorks.
