My Unique Skill Makes Me OP Even at Level 1 is a rather famous isekai LN. The series isn’t perfect but it is definitely one of the more entertaining isekais I’ve read. Recently, the anime adaptation of this LN was announced and we’re here to talk about that today. There are many other isekai novels that deserve an anime too but, I am pretty happy that this is getting an anime though. Because I believe this series will really shine in the anime format if it is well directed.
So I will start with a brief introduction to My Unique Skill before getting into the news part. There isn’t a lot to discuss in the news part but you can skip to it if you want. So let’s get started with it right away.
Introduction
My Unique Skill is an isekai LN written by Miki Nazuna and illustrated by Subachi. It is currently ongoing and started its serialization not too long ago on 1st September 2017. It is about a guy who died from overwork and was reincarnated into another world. He soon finds out that he cannot increase his level and is stuck on level 1. But, he has a unique skill that allows him to make all kinds of items from monsters. So he maxes out all of his stats and gear despite being only level 1.
My Unique Skill has a pretty cookie-cutter isekai setting. But, it does get better over time. I dont know about everyone but, I really enjoyed this series. I find it very entertaining despite its flaws. It also has a manga adaptation by Mawata, so you can check that out too if you don’t want to read the LN. Or you can just wait for the anime.
What do we know about My Unique Skill Makes me OP Even at Level 1 anime?
As I said before, there is not much news to report. Kodansha announced yesterday that an anime for My Unique Skill is in production. Nothing more was announced, they haven’t even opened up an official site yet. So I do expect more information soon. It is a very early announcement so treat this article as more of an introduction to the series.
Expectations
I expect the My Unique Skill anime to be pretty average. It is a chill series for the most part so it doesn’t need some high-quality animations and all. It will probably be a rather relaxing type of anime since the series also does have some SoL elements to it. I like the concept of the story, and I know the series is really entertaining to read. So I really believe that if the anime is well directed, people will like it. So yeah, we’ll have to wait and see what kind of anime My Unique Skill ends up being.
