So Mashle Muscles and Magic is really entertaining. The story is a bit iffy, nothing too good but not too bad either. But the anime as a whole, manages to be really fun to watch.

What do I think about Mashle Magic and Muscles?
So let me be clear. The story and writing of this anime are rather flat. The school and the house system are taken from Harry Potter while the coin system to become the Divine Visionary is pretty common. What the story lacks in originality though, is made up for by how well it is executed. Mash is so strong physically that his feats appear like magic. As I said, imagine Saitama joining Hogwarts.
The amount of dedication to show Mash absolutely owning a magic user with sheer brute strength is commendable. He does not care who he is up against, he will beat the living hell out of anyone he does not like. He is the definition of musclebrain. When someone tries explaining to him something even slightly complex, his brain overloads lol.
Now, on the one hand, this is something very in character for Mash on the other hand, I don’t like this troupe because it becomes an excuse to hold back information. Which leads to poor world-building. But you know, that is not what this anime is about. It is just a fun ‘what if’ scenario inspired by Harry Potter that you put your brain aside and enjoy.
One last thing I’d like to mention before the conclusion. the animations and art style are pretty awesome. And the opening and ending themes are really good too.
