A friend of mine recommended this LN to me a few days ago upon seeing my Winter 2023 guide. He was like “oh this is getting an anime? You should check it out, it’s pretty good”. Me being a content-hungry demon took him up on the offer. And man, Isekai Nonbiri Nouka is actually a really good LN and I look forward to the anime adaptation.
So welcome back to another edition of our “Put This on Your Radar” series. This week, let’s talk about Isekai Nonbiri Nouka today. As always, I will start off with the news + introduction section for the anime. And then give you my thoughts on why you should check it out. You know, these articles are meant to promote upcoming animes. So let’s get started.
What do we know about Isekai Nonbiri Nouka anime?
Isekai Nonbiri Nouka or Farming Life in Another World is based on an isekai harem SOL LN of the same name by Yasumo and Naito Kinosuke. The LN is still ongoing and it started back in October 2017. As for the anime, it will be made by Zero-G studios. They’re best known for Grand Blue so quite a fitting studio choice for this anime. The project will be helmed by Kuraya Ryouichi, a fairly little-known director but they have worked on Dive and a few Overlord episodes.
The anime will start airing on 6th January 2023. We recently got a new PV as well as additional cast details regarding this anime. The opening theme, “Flower Ring” will be performed by 2 of the VAs as their respective characters. The ending theme “Feel the Winds” will be performed by Yui Hizuki, yes the Vtuber. My Thoughts
As the name suggests, it is an isekai about farming! Our MC dies of illness in his previous life. God gives him 4 wishes and he picks to have a healthy body, to know a local language, to live peacefully, and to be a farmer. That is the type of guy the MC is. My boy just wants to work on his farm. That is literally what this LN is about! And it is so chill! It is so relaxing to read and stuff. It is a total vibe.
I really look forward to the anime. The PVs look pretty good so far and I am positive that the experience from Grand Blue will help in this anime. After all, it is a chill, laid-back SOL comedy like Grand Blue. In fact, Grand Blue is quite a ways wilder than Isekai Nonbiri Nouka! It is basically the isekai version of Non-Non Biyori, which is funny cause both names are kind of similar. So this is the anime for you if you’re interested in that kind of stuff!
