The official website of Gundam SEED revealed a bunch of new details about the movie today. We got the main staff, the first trailer, and a release date for the movie. The movie will be coming out on the 26th of January. That is an important date in our country lol, a nice coincidence. The director of the original anime, Mitsuo Fukuda, will be returning to direct this movie too. And yep, just like most Gundam anime, this movie will also be made by Sunrise.
There are a bunch of new additions to the staff too, which is to be expected; the original series came out almost 20 years ago at this point. You can check out the new trailer here. It looks pretty cool, not gonna lie. We did not get any cast announcements, but I think all available members of the original cast will make a return.

Well, consider me excited. Sunrise is bringing back the original director, and it’s more Gundam SEED with modern animations and a movie budget. As a fan of the original series, how can Iย notย be excited? It will probably be a while before I can watch the movie, as international releases for anime movies are kinda weird when you live in a 3rd world country. But hey, I cannot wait to watch this movie in the theatres. I will be glorious.
