I am well aware that we got some more stuff for Chainsaw Man as well, but I’ll cover that in a later article. Everyone is talking about CSM right now so let’s talk about an announcement that went under a lot of people’s radar because of CSM. Bungou Stray Dogs Season 4 recently got some more juicy info and I am excited as hell for another season of this amazing series.
Yup guys, we’ll be seeing Dazai for another 12-13 episodes soon once again. There was quite a bit of info announced so there is a lot of talk about today. With that said, let’s get started right away. More Bungou Stray Dogs is always good.
What do we know about Bungou Stray Dogs Season 4?
The official website of Bungou Stray Dogs revealed a lot of good stuff about season 4 yesterday (5th August). They revealed new staff members, an additional cast, a new visual, and the first PV. Speaking of which, one of my favorite VAs, Takehito Koyasu (Dio’s VA) is joining the cast! That should be fun to see, that guy always has some crazy roles.
The director, Takuya Igarashi is returning to lead the production of Bungou Stray Dogs once again at Bones studio. And the original cast will also be reprising their respective roles. Season 4 is set to air in Winter 2023 i.e., January 2023. I am very excited, this should be another fun season. You can check out the PV here and now let’s move on to
Expectations
Let me start off by saying, the PV looks good. Bungou Stray Dogs has always been one of my favorite animes and I am really happy to see that it is getting another season. So obviously my expectations are pretty high. I think we’ll see another deep plot with lots of double crossings and twists. That’s a Bungou Stray Dogs standard at this point pretty much.
And from the looks of the PV, it looks like we’ll be seeing a lot more of Rampo this season? That should be fun, Rampo is a great character and I’d love to see his background explored as they did with Dazai and Chuuya. You know, a past arc for Rampo sounds fun. This is what I like about Bungou Stray Dogs though, each character is basically the protagonist of their own arc.
Well, we’ll be seeing this anime soon-ish I’ll fanboy over Bungou Stray Dogs more when it finally drops. Man, I am excited as hell for this season.
Conclusion
The past few days have been really good to me. I am finally on a break since my exams and semester are over. Eminem dropped some “new” stuff. And then the CSM trailer and this. I can’t get the smile off of my face. I am really excited about Bungou Stray Dogs Season 4. And I really hope it lives up to my expectations. Let me know what you guys think in the comments.
