So here is something I didn’t even expect I’d ever see. I honestly didn’t know that the manga even continued after the 3rd season but no, the manga is still going strong. I am really happy to say this; Bungou Stray Dogs is finally getting a 4th season. This is perfect news to do after a long time of my absence.
Well, welcome back everyone. We will be doing regular articles once again now. I wasn’t here for some reason but, we are finally back and man, a lot of crazy stuff has happened when we were gone apparently so here we are back again. There is of course a lot of stuff to cover but, this is the perfect place to start so here we go.
What do we know about Bungou Stray Dogs 4?
There is not much information for now sadly. It was just one of those announcements that show that the studio is currently working on this project. But oh well, here is what we have.
On Sunday (7th Nov), there was a special event for Bungou Stray Dogs. Season 4 was announced in this event along with a teaser visual and some of the major staff. The Director is reprising their job and a few cast members have been changed. Bones will once again be the animation studio.
That is all we got from the announcement. The rest is just some speculation now so let’s move on to
Expectations
Let me get this out of the way first off, I am really excited for some more Bungou Stray Dogs. I really like the series and all its characters so I am very interested in seeing more of it. I touched up a little on the manga after season 3 so I have an idea of what to expect from season 4 and man, the best way to describe it would be “it’s more Bungou Stray Dogs” and that is good enough for me. The plot is still somehow really interesting so keep an eye out for it.
If you don’t know about it, Bungou Stray Dogs is a detective anime with superpowers. It has some really awesome characters and it blends the elements of suspense and action together really well.
As for the release date, we should have a confirmed release date for Bungou Stray Dogs Season 4 by early 2021. If you ask me, I’ll say we’ll see the anime itself around the spring or winter season next year. I highly doubt it’ll be pushed to 2023. I can’t completely deny the possibility of that happening but, it seems unlikely. But well, remember this is just my speculation and I can be wrong so….
Conclusion
That is it for now. I am really excited about Bungou Stray Dogs Season 4. From what I saw in the manga, it looks to be more of what we love so of course, I am all in for it. I purposefully didn’t go in too deep so that I can enjoy the new season fully when it comes out. With that said, I will take my leave here. I have quite a bit of catching up to do. So, see ya!!
