The Arknights anime was pretty good. And dare I say, even underrated in certain aspects. There was a time when most video game anime adaptations were borderline unwatchable, we have come a long way from that and I am pleased about that. Arknights: Perish in Frost was announced a while ago but now we finally have more details.
I hope that more high-quality anime adaptations of games are made in the future. Who knows, maybe one day something like Honkai Impact 3rd will get an anime adaptation too. People dismiss these games because of their gacha elements but I swear, some of them have better stories than a lot of the paid games.

First and foremost, all of the cast from the first season will be making a return. And I believe most of the major staff members also remain the same. So, the anime will be made by Yostar Pictures again and directed by Watanabe Yuuki. Sadly, no release window for this anime has been confirmed yet but that should be announced pretty soon as well.
The anime recently revealed a new teaser PV which you can check out right here. It looks pretty awesome and the art style has definitely taken a step about season 1. My Thoughts
As I said, the first Arknights anime was pretty good. So I am rather excited for this one as well. My only complaint with these animes is that they’re not very friendly to people who have not played the game. They could’ve had a little more explanation about things in there to familiarize people who haven’t played the games. Now hopefully, that is something they can improve on with this sequel.
On the bright side, the teaser looks pretty awesome. It does a great job of getting you pumped for the new season. As for the release date, I’d have expected it to drop in Fall 2023 but if that were the case, we probably would’ve heard about it by now. So I would Winter 2023. But that is my speculation.
