You know the feeling when an anime season you’ve been waiting for desperately ends in a crazy cliffhanger? That is what happened to us few fans of the Ancient Magus’ Bride. Therefore, it was a relief when the final episode announced that The Ancient Magus’ Bride Season 2 Part 2 is under production and will be coming out soon.
Yes, I was indeed keeping up with this series. I did not talk about it on purpose. I will make up for it; I have a big article planned for this series soon. But for now, let’s talk about the Season 2 Part 2 news first.

What do we know about The Ancient Magus’ Bride Season 2 Part 2?
The 12th and final episode of Season 2 Part 1 that aired recently announced that Season 2 Part 2 is under production, and we will be seeing it soon. How soon? Well, it will be coming out in this year’s fall season. Not only that, but we also got a confirmed release date of 5th October 2023! Studio Kafka, the subsidiary of WIT Studio will be returning to animate Part 2. And I think it is fair to assume that all of the main staff and cast members will be making a return as well.
Aside from that, we also got a Teaser PV for the 2nd Part of Season 2. You can check it out here. It looks pretty hype, not gonna lie. And I can’t wait to see the continuation of the university arc.

What do I think?
Ah man, after that crazy cliffhanger ending to Part 1, I am really glad that The Ancient Magus’ Bride Season 2 Part 2 is coming soon. Just a few more months of waiting to see the conclusion of this awesome arc. I really don’t want to spoil things in a news article so I will restrain myself here. But trust me, the university arc so far has been so, so good. I definitely like it more than season 1.
It has all the typical dark storytelling of this series but all of it is coupled with a touch of mystery. That touch of mystery really adds another layer to the story and makes it way more engaging than season 1’s story was. I really cannot wait to see more of it.
